Applied Behavior Analysis
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically validated approach to understanding behavior and how it is affected by the environment.
On a practical level, the principles and methods of behavior analysis have helped many different kinds of learners acquire many different skills – from healthier lifestyles to the mastery of a new language.
Through decades of research, the field of behavior analysis has developed many techniques for increasing useful behaviors and reducing those that may cause harm or interfere with learning. At Thrive we lean toward a play based model of ABA intervention, utilizing positive behavior interventions. We also utilize PRT, DTT, DIR and Floortime as needed for each client.
School Base BCBA and RBT services
We work with many school districts across California to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment, behavior support services, and educational consultation services for children with autism and other developmental disorders. Our approach towards a school based ABA treatment program is all about positive reinforcement and empowerment of children. We believe that the school staff and our BCBA experts must work closely together to help children reach their fullest potential.
Our comprehensive school-based ABA services are delivered by trained ABA therapists and supervised Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Our training programs and workshop series are designed to help school district personnel at all levels learn more about autism and successful treatment methods.
Early Intervention helps young children with developmental delays or attention, learning, or behavioral challenges.
Whether your child has already been diagnosed, or you are concerned that your child's development or skills are delayed, early intervention can make a crucial difference in your child's life.
